Cut Tool

The Cut Tool is a specialized utility available exclusively within Step 2 - Foliage Growth. It provides a way to manually trim/shorten secondary branches that may growing in unwanted areas.

How to use the Cut Tool

  1. Navigate to the Cut Tool section within the Step 2 menu.
  2. For the first use, click the Use Cut button to initialize the trimming system.
  3. Click on the Cut ! button.
    • Blender will automatically switch to Edit Mode with the Draw Tool active.
  4. Draw to Trim: draw curves that intersect the secondary branches (the ones from Step 2) you wish to shorten. Branch will be cut at the point where they cross your drawn curve.

Parameters

  • Distance: Adjusts the detection range for intersections between your drawn curve and the branches.
  • Threshold: Controls the sensitivity of the cut.
